I've wanted a dehydrator for over a year and would like to research TON before I buy it. This dehydrator caught my attention for two reasons: it had really great reviews, but it also has a heater in the back that circulates warm air and dries your stuff more evenly. I cannot stress enough how important it is that your clothes dry evenly. It's difficult enough to get an even cut, but then you end up with products with overdrying and insufficient dehydration. This company also makes dehydrators with fewer and fewer bowls, so you can get a size that suits your needs. This product doesn't come with silicone mats needed for crafting things like fruit bowls, so be aware you'll need to purchase these separately. All in all I've had this for a few months and have made delicious beef jerky, dried fruit and fruit peels. It's not too loud when in use, but it's not quiet either. It also has a heat output of up to 165 and you can set a timer.
