Review on πŸ§— Metolius 3/4 Climbing Gloves by David Bott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not just for climbing! Great gloves for wheelchairs!

I've been looking for a suitable replacement for the fingerless leather gloves I used to have for a number of years. Those Metolius Gloves are just like mine! Firstly, the quality of the leather and stitching is just superb! The leather isn't paper thin, the fabric is durable and I've had the misfortune to buy many of these. Second, my life sort of revolves around my chair lol! In the wheelchair, I pretty much used up my portion of unnecessary gloves and then quickly threw them in the bin. This time I bought two pairs, one for each of my two wheelchairs. Nothing is worse than leaving the house only to find out later that your gloves are still inside. So why are they so good for people in chairs, you ask. There's a lot of coating on the thumb so you don't get those sores off the edge of the skin if you rub it wet to the point. There's thick, comfortable padding on the palm that helps with braking but protects your palms. Yes, I just use my palms and press the tires to slow down or stop. I made a change that you may or may not want to make. I personally don't need velcro to attach it, it just gets in the way and rubs on the wrist. I can't label a tab as negative just because many of us like that tab, but I prefer to just delete it. If you drive like me, watch your hands and grab this!
