The installation was easy. The item comes with 2 anchors and 2 screws. I used a level, marked the wall with dots for the holes, drilled the holes, inserted the anchors and screwed in the screws. The item seems to stay put pretty well.I like the simple, one piece design. There are no joints, seams or moving parts, so it seems like it should last a long time.The horizontal bars or fingers that hold medals seem to be rigid enough to avoid bending. If you try, you can make the fingers flex, but that amount of force is not typical of what the item would experience when supporting medals.The spacing between the supports seems to be adequate. I could not decide if they were too close together, but perhaps being further apart would limit the number of medals that can be supported, and so I think the designers made the right decision on that.
