I have two dogs. One who usually eats everything and one who is picky. I was surprised that my dog, who eats everything, did not like this food. Not sure if it's because she's spoiled for toppers or doesn't like the food. Both dogs searched the food for the extra treats, but then did not eat the rest of the food. I had to combine this food with canned food so they would eat their full portion. I'm not a dog food expert and the ingredients appear to be of good quality to my untrained eye. The first ingredient is rice and I'm wondering if my dogs find rice too basic. I wish I could ask her and get an answer! One more note, this food is very expensive and for the price I want my dogs to love it. Normally food at this price has exotic ingredients, but there is nothing particularly new about this food. Ingredients are limited compared to other foods, which is great for dogs with sensitive stomachs. There is no chicken or beef in this meal. It is very difficult to find a food that does not contain either chicken or beef, so this food may be suitable for a dog that is sensitive to these ingredients (check with your vet first). Overall I think this food is worth trying if your dog has a sensitive stomach and nothing else has worked.
