While discussing the sound, it is essential, of course, to be aware of what to benchmark it against. The crux of the matter is that the so-called in-ear headphones do not work well for me; I have tried a variety of them, each with an overlay of a different size and made of a different material; they do not fit properly, they cause discomfort, they need to be adjusted, etc. etc. The headphones that come standard with the iPhone have an excellent fit in terms of shape (Sony used to sell something very similar), and they do their function adequately; nevertheless, first and foremost, these are wired headphones, and secondly, their sound is brittle and grating. The sound quality of airpods, on the other hand, is noticeably more full and smooth. It seems to me that the presence of bass is what allows for the desired impact to be produced. When it comes to detailing, there is no room for amateur mistakes; the equipment can't even be used as a guide. And the sound and the connection is also a touch of magic from Apple, in this case - its own chip in the headphones = pairing + DAC, tuned suitably. The volume reserve is acceptable to the point that it almost did not twist to its utmost capacity. There are no issues with the headphones when used as a headset. I do not consider the absence of wireless charging to be a drawback because users who want to add this feature to their native case may do so for a cost of one thousand dollars (or less from a reputable online retailer) or less. Dust does appear on the bow between the case and the cover, but the minus is not considered to be significant. So. If you are not an audiophile but only need to get rid of the cables and for some reason in-ear headphones are not suitable, then airpods, when used with apple technology, can solve this problem, while also giving out quite a pleasant sound.
