I ordered this because the title said chicken. I ordered it by way of the Best Buy Vine review program so I didn’t see all the details when I ordered. I just saw that it was Nutro Chicken for cats and Kittens. When I opened the box upon arrival and took the back out, I was surprised to see that it is chicken and cod. I tend to avoid giving my cats anything with fish in it, particularly my eldest as she has a fish allergy. I did end up giving my youngest a servicing of this and she absolutely loves it. I will say that the pieces are very small and at first she seemed more interested in pawing the pieces out of the bowl and playing with them but then she did start eating them and then seemed to take to eating them directly from the bowl. I only gave this to my youngest and I give my babies around a 95% wet cat food diet with a few servings of specialty dry for my eldest as her kidneys are slowing down and my son only gets maybe one serving of dry a day, as he is overweight. My youngest eats her small dry servings from a bowl that spins with a timer every 6 hours or so so I will add a few pieces of this in with her regular chicken based dry but even though she seems to like it. I most likely will not Oder it again because of the cod. It is good food though and my Aldora certainly seems like she would recommend it.
