I wish this pillow had a matching cover as an accessory. I bought a smaller travel size. This worked fine on a hard mattress, but I love hard mattresses. There is a lot of filling in the pillow, but if it seems too much for you, there is a zipper and you can remove part of the filling. Just massage the filling to smooth it out. I really like the pillow; it's a hundred times better than an inflatable travel pillow.
