I thought this bag would fit my 17 inch laptop, school books and other work essentials. Plastic (no roller wheels like my previous bags). The biggest disappointment was the fact that my laptop only fit in the front of the bag. It didn't fit at the back. With my laptop and a small textbook in front, the bag wanted to fall forward all the time. With the bag I was trying to open the compartment that the laptop was supposed to come out in and you have to open the compartment fully on both sides which is great but the bag wanted to fall the entire time I was doing this. If you needed something in the midsection to get it you had to open the bag on both sides and when that happened the bag popped open like a sandwich. It had plenty of pockets and space to store things, but just didn't have enough support in the structure to keep it balanced. I bought this bag to replace a Targus cloth trolley bag I've had for a while as the wheels and stuff we wore wear out. However, I figured a nice leather bag would be a good investment; I would not recommend this bag to anyone. It's too crooked and doesn't have enough support to keep the bag upright while you take things out or put them in your bag.
