I've had them completely finished and fully boxed up on a couple of trips and so far the zips have held up well throughout with no binding. They seem very durable. I also did a test to try and pack everything in a suitcase without a compression cube and I didn't manage to fit anything in. Extension, 20 inches, go ahead (I've uploaded a picture of everything that fits). 8 pairs of socks, 9 panties, 6 jogging pants, 6 t-shirts, 5 tank tops, 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of capris, 1 skirt, 6 sports bras, 2 swimwear, 3 bras, 2 pajama sets and 2 nightgowns. I'm not skinny either, so my clothes don't run small.
