Review on Zupapa Hammock Stand Fit For 8-11 Feet Hammock, 2 Person Heavy Duty With Carry Bag, Outdoor Indoor Use Steel Hammock Frame by Steve Yang

Works with Ebay Basics Rope Hammock

I needed a stand for an Ebay Basics Rope Hammock. Because of the size of the hammock plus the amount it stretches, it needs a long stand, and this 15 foot stand fits the need nicely. It's heavy-duty but easy to assemble. All parts were present and in fine condition. I weigh 165 lbs., and the hammock is stretched to only a couple of links in the chains on each end, so it seems a shorter frame would likely not work well with this hammock. I'll note that when in the hammock, the base of the stand on my feet end tends to rise up slightly off of the porch floor, but it doesn't make it unstable or cause any problems. The attached drink/phone/book holder is handy, although it's just a bit far for me to have to reach when in the hammock. Lastly, there are cheaper stands available, but after reading reviews, I went with this one. I'm a cancer patient with significant damage to my ribs and spine, so falling is not a good thing. This stand looks like it's going to take good care of me.

Pros
  • heavy duty love it
Cons
  • The stand may take up a significant amount of space in smaller outdoor areas, limiting its versatility
