Review on 🛁 KES Aluminum Bathroom Glass Shelf - Tempered Glass, Rectangular 1 Tier, Extra Thick, Silver, Wall Mounted - A4126A by Fock Dean

This shelf is heavy and the brackets that hold it up are just poorly constructed. They rely on the entire weight being held by just (2) two bolts. A metal ring is attached to the top screw holes in the brackets (per the instructions) to prevent items from sliding off the shelf. It's rated at 11 pounds, but it couldn't even support the weight of its own glass shelf without lifting off the wall. I even tried taking the small screws holding the metal ring in place and letting them out of the mounting brackets so I could thread the drywall screws through the top holes in the brackets. Unfortunately, the screw heads touched and the shelf was still leaning against the wall at an angle (though not pulled away from it anymore). I even tried to assemble it properly with liquid nails and "glue" the brackets to the wall, but it just peeled the paint off the wall and still sat at an angle to the wall (again). It's not wide enough to screw into studs, and using drywall anchors only worked as long as they didn't pull out of the wall when we placed bathroom products on top. I have a mess (liquid nails on the wall) and two large holes that I now need to putty, sand and repaint. We have installed (and use) other KES shelves and they are great! Unfortunately, due to the weak construction of the attachment of this shelf, I cannot recommend it.
