This sweatshirt is a nice basic hoodie for everyday wear. It is made to be worn by both girls and boys and is gender independent. It's good for our family because I like to save while the kids outgrow them so the next kid can carry them. This allows for more than one baby clothes and can be passed from my eldest daughter to my son. As for the material, it really doesn't look like there's fleece inside. Feels and looks like a regular sweatshirt. The material is a bit thin. It's good to wear together with a shirt underneath when the weather is extra cold, or you can wear it in spring or autumn when the weather is a bit chilly. The quality is good and well made, therefore recommended. The size is accurate too.
