This is the only one you can buy, the cheaper sponge is thinner and probably crap as noted and the cleaning process naturally wears them down so you'll want the thickest replacement fill. I have a stone floor that is supposed to be white and I have dogs. The floor gets so dirty so fast! I used to use buckets, Ajax, washcloths and hand scrubs; It can clean an entire floor in about 15-20 minutes, while it took me at least an hour on my hands and knees. I don't use a bucket, I just wash the dirt off under the kitchen sink faucet and wash off the scum by hand. It doesn't absorb water well, you have to tilt and squeeze several times to wring it out. When I'm satisfied with the cleanliness, I finish mopping the floor with paper towels. If the floor is a little gray all I need is a mop, hot water and 5 minutes, for black prints I spray some Ajax or Comet. I would give it 3 stars overall, but it's the ONLY mop that can clean this horrible floor. We even put a bristle head on the drill to clean it and it just squirted the cleaner all over the cabinets so I'm glad I found these! I can get about 6-7 good heavy blues out of each one.
