The price was low and it was easy to install and use, so why 4 stars? For me personally the lights were too close together so when hanging it was difficult to achieve an uneven look in the tree. They looked alike and stood close together. If it was a small tree I think it would look nice. Also, I should have ordered a lot more as I was decorating a much larger Christmas tree. You might even want to look for icicles that are uneven or oddly shaped compared to the others and make sure there is more room between the icicles to maneuver and refine the design. These are my thoughts. Next Christmas I'm going to use them at the very bottom of my roofline. Hey, you try and you will learn. I've still found a use for them. And remember this is my opinion, I've seen a lot of great reviews but if you're a perfectionist like me then find another use for them.
