I've read a few reviews that say they have design flaws that make installation difficult. You are not. If you've read the instructions, it says to drill holes with a 3.5" hole saw, not a 3" hole saw. If ordering these make sure you have a 3.5 inch hole saw. I got their cheap set from Port Freight which is great for drywall. I installed 6 of these lamps in my dim dining room to illuminate the artwork and then turned on the dimmer. The light quality is fantastic and they are just the right brightness to use at multiple 3-4 foot distances. I now bring more light into my hallway and living room to set accents. I'll probably put some in my bathrooms over time. Highly recommended.
