Anker Customer Service got it right!

Updated overview. Anker saw my issue in my original review here. I didn't contact them directly because I wasn't sure if the cable just wasn't rated for use with my iPhone XR and iPad Pro. They sent me a new cable to test and it works exactly as I expected. However, since my original cable caused problems when I first tried it on both my phone and tablet, I suspected that their quality control tests ran into this issue. Anker has great customer service. Original Review: I was just looking for a good universal USB-C to Lightning cable to transfer data and charge from my MacBook Pro 16 to my XR phone and iPad 10.5 pro. (including strollers). From time to time I get an incompatible popup with my iPad, although sometimes it seems to be trying to work. However, it doesn't seem to want to charge the battery, so my iPad eventually turns off in tethered stroller mode. I usually use it from time to time and then the problem occurs when I'm not sure if it's my fault or not and put it back in my bag. Then after a month or two I'll return it, hoping it's better now, but in reality it never is. It just wasn't a reliable cable for me. I've had much better luck with the Revain USB-C to USB converter and then my original Apple Lightning cable, which is a pain. Of course, if Apple had just let me have a regular USB port, I wouldn't need all the dongles needed to get this expensive pro laptop up and running.
