This is by far the BEST laundry detergent! I had serious doubts but the positive reviews piqued my curiosity. I've tried so many laundry detergents from Gain to all sorts, laundry pearls, washer and dryer fabric softener. Nothing came close to what I was looking for. It was so frustrating that I even forgot what I really wanted to achieve. Are you talking about expensive and using 4 products to find the right scent? funny. Charlie's soap is amazing! The scent is very refreshing and takes me back to my childhood days when the laundry my mom washed and dried smelled wonderful and clean! This soap preserves that memory perfectly, even without drying on a line. Our clothes don't feel weighed down with soap, they are in great condition, just clean and tidy and did I mention they smell great? The scent is so subtle, not overpowering in the slightest. Our HE car stank even though it was ventilated and clothes came out with the same disgusting smell. This and many other problems were quickly solved with Charlie's soap. I use the recommendations on the package - 1 tablespoon per load is enough. My purchase came with two packs and I think it's a great deal. I am a customer for life. Costs money.
