Review on ACDelco PT2183 Original Equipment Multi Purpose by Jon Estell

My injector pigtails are gradually failing in my LLY. I bought this to fix a previous #8 that was bad and made the truck sound like a John Deere and had a top speed of 10mph. Now the other bank is bad, I should have just sat down and done all 8. The "ice pick" method can get you a few thousand miles, but I expect them to last another 275,000 like the originals. Why? Wire gauge is the same as OEM, as opposed to thinner imported connectors. The plug casting is the same thickness as opposed to the thinner imported ones. The wire insulation is a bit stiff, wear-resistant, unlike imported ones, which are very flexible and do not support the engine compartment environment in my opinion. You can buy the same white wires at your local Chebby dealer, which is why GM uses them.
