I ordered these shoes because it was time for a new pair. He can't walk yet so I was looking for something that would hold his socks up, have a soft sole with non-slip grips, and for less than $5. Well I found her. (There is another pair with laces for the same price from the same brand that I also ordered that I liked. Well worth a look!) I received these shoes in 4 days and the packaging was fine but they came great well out. I received them in blue and was a little worried they might be too girly. Thank goodness they aren't, but they will work too. My son is 9 months old and is almost a size 4 on the Amazon charts. Based on other reviews that the sizes are too small, I ordered a size 12-18 (large). They fit with some room to allow his skinny legs to grow, but if his feet were wide they would fit more snugly and leave a bit more room. I can see them getting lost, so at the same time I might have to lace them up to make sure we don't lose them. I agree with one review, they creak a bit on hard floors but hardly anything to fuss about. over. (At least you know where they are) All in all this is a great purchase and we are very happy with it.
