Review on ⏳ AOMAG Hand-Blown Magnetic Hourglass Sand Timer: Classic Desk Decor with Timer Magnet and Glass Clock by Wendy Smith

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The "sand " flows too fast to show the shapes.

It's not as much fun as I was hoping. "Sand" falls through too quickly. During the first two seconds you can see iron filings forming steep spikes and shapes on the bottom. Then new sawdust falls out from above and closes it, and at the bottom remains a shapeless lump of sand. My dad figured out how to make it more fun by adding an extra magnet at the top when flipping. The sawdust sticking to the top is pretty funny. And of course you can use a magnet to play with sawdust through the glass without tipping it over or missing. But it's still not as exciting or attractive as I was hoping. I still gave it two stars because it's sturdy enough for an adult or older child toy, but I wouldn't order again.
