So today I clipped my toenails - using other clippers, not this one. Unfortunately, I've grown them out for so long that my big toenails seem to have had a similar hardness to titanium. First I cut off part of the nail. Then I had to press three times to try to cut off the rest of the nail and finally BOOM! No, I didn't cut the nail - the pliers broke! The metal part just came loose at the base - totally unusable. I panicked. Am I destined to spend the day with a partially cut nail? NO. Enter the Victorinox clippers which, as a boy scout, I so cleverly stowed away as a spare for just such an occasion. But I was wondering how these SMALL Victorinox clippers would deal with the hardened toenail on my big toe. It seemed impossible. But to my great surprise, the nail scissors from Victorinox went through this nail like clockwork! (Which certainly wasn't the case!) I mean, I didn't even have to press hard or use a lot of force. It must have something to do with the leverage this cool little tool creates. In the end I was able to cut my nails - and I'm no longer the bane of my family. (Well, maybe I still am, but not because I have half-cut toenails!) These Victorinox clippers are AMAZING! I love them so much I have ordered two more in case I lose the one I have! They are inexpensive, small and light, STRONG and do their job perfectly. I wish all instruments were that cool! If you need a good set of nail clippers, buy them TODAY! You will thank yourself later!
