* Blades last longer. I received my blade sharpener on March 12th and am still using the same Gillette blade over 90 days later*. The blades stay sharp and clean. It was like shaving with a new blade every time. The limiting factor might be the gel strip, which still seems to last longer.* Saves money. I might need 3 or 4 blades a year or less.* Helps the environment. Multiply the effect by the number of users and you get the result. Please note that shaving cream is not required to sharpen the blade. Four wet strokes and you're done. I have one for my father and son in law. I wonder if it is suitable for sharpening knives.
