Comfortable for young children

Bought these for my 5 year old to wear to school. I wanted something that could stay around his neck even if he wasn't wearing it on his face. This double layer on the front made me understand more about how this would work. He is 5 years old and has a big head and it's a bit small. I used one for my 2 year old and it fits him better (a bit too big).
