Fits phone but not iPad

I bought a stand to hold my iPad for virtual activities. Unfortunately, the gooseneck is too weak to hold the iPad properly. The spring-loaded clip doesn't feel particularly strong either, although it didn't drop the iPad in some uses. However, if you try to free the iPad, it may pop out uncontrollably. Once I almost fell and hit the ground. The stand works great with the iPhone and its minimalism is good for this type of use.
