You get what you pay for.

I've always wondered why Bogs boots are so expensive. Now I know after getting a pair for one of the kids. These are high quality and well fitting cold weather boots. The fit is true to size and the foot slides right in. The foot is securely fixed in the boot and the toe of the boot reaches to the middle of the lower leg. It's high enough to keep water and snow out, but low enough to allow for easy walking. The bottom of the boot has good grip. They also keep your feet warm and dry. These boots can be the perfect boots for kids, albeit expensive. Go with them if you don't mind paying a premium. Otherwise, the Western Chief Boots are comparable children's boots at a lower price.
