The plug outlet stoppers don't stay in very well, but how many people actually need those? No problem not using those. The bottom segment of the hard case has to slip in a particular direction in order to get both the front and back to clip in. The screen protector is very difficult to get on in one shot without any bubbles, so be prepared for that. But I got most of them out by burnishing them to the edges. And the handful of little bubbles left don't affect usage at all. The slip case is so really good. No worries about zippers scratching or anything. Fits perfectly snug. A very good buy for the cost.(Make sure you have the particular MacBook pro model that this fits to. This is not for the newer ones.)
