I have an autistic child and the pressure helped him fall asleep as an infant. The new house we were moving into was causing sleeping problems so I figured why not? It's cheaper than a weighted blanket. Well, he also has trouble urinating in bed. In a funny twist of fate, he was actually lying on his back, so maybe he had enough pressure to shoot up and through the ceiling. It's not easy to get onto a mattress. It's easy to take it off. Getting wet is uncomfortable. I suggest you use this with night trainers or wait until your child is fully potty trained before making this purchase.
