Our 14-year-old, 70-pound boxer has had trouble walking on bare ground much more than usual for the past year or so. He has fallen several times and in old age his legs are very unstable. He's been wearing these boots for several hours now and there's no mistaking his newfound confidence. He runs around the house avoiding the places he has avoided. This is already changing his life. I like that they don't have to be taken off when he goes outside. I'm sure his paws are warmer, definitely better protected. He has big paws so if they were a bit more elastic they would be easier to put on. Just an observation. Do not complain. I don't know how long this will last, but I'm already thrilled that my old man has more mobility.
