16GB kit breathed new life into the Mac Mini in mid-2010; Works great

Bought for a memory upgrade on my Mac Mini in mid 2010. Even though the specs officially say it only supports 8GB of RAM, with the EFI update everyone should have it, even if they makes a halfhearted attempt to update the software on their Mac Mini, it can support 16GB of RAM. and it worked flawlessly. I'll also say I thought about saving up and getting 8GB, but I'm glad I paid the extra for 16GB. When I looked at the memory used, it was already over 8GB (yes, I understand that OS X has its own algorithm and wouldn't use that much if the total memory was limited to 8GB, but for me that means that if there was no limit, OS X would use &gt;= 8GB). It breathed a whole new life into my Mac Mini and I have no intention of replacing it *soon*.
