Generally satisfied with the remote control functions of this unit. Works well with Alexa. The problem, like many others, is that small parts of the strip lose color options. I had 3 spots that lost the ability to use red as a color, so any combination of that color is just a 100% mix of another color with red. Two blemishes I fixed with a simple press, oddly one doesn't always work. Update: As you can see from the first post, I was fine with the product I received. The company reached out to me and wanted to help me with my bad lightbar issue and sent me another one for free! Everything works great so far: even gave me the option to place it differently. I'll update again in a few weeks to see if parts of the strip come out in a reasonable amount of time. When not updated the lights are great and you should check them out if not to see how they work for you but for the company's customer service. However, one problem is that connecting a car to the Smart Life app is a bit of a chore, but it's just technology for you. Update: so these lights still work. They can be difficult to set up on Wi-Fi, but not the "bulb" issues on the second one they sent me. I had to leave the first one and play with it, but more and more "lights" on the first one went out. The first was clearly a faulty product and this company did a fantastic job of fixing the faulty product. will be again
