Bought to make it easier to switch between indoor and outdoor work in the summer. I also use it as a second or third screen depending on what workstation I'm using. I've had no trouble using it indoors, outdoors, with dual screens, or as a third screen. He smoothly transitions between them. The battery lasts 4-6 hours. I haven't used it for audio so can't comment on that, but love how light and portable it is, and it has plenty of ports so it's very versatile. I also like that the kickstand on the back lets you adjust the screen at different angles to reduce glare. It's not touchscreen, but at this price point, and as one of the few portable monitors under $200 with a battery, I agree and would buy more of these monitors again if I had to. The last thing I do is do a lot of numbers and as long as you can do it comfortably on a laptop screen you won't have a problem with this monitor as it's basically the same size as a laptop.
