Great case but had to remove the screen protector

This is a good case for our new Samsung Tab S3. It snaps into place with relative ease, although once the two pieces are connected it takes a bit of work to get the final clips in place. Later it was surprisingly difficult to remove the case and I had to stick a knife in to separate the two parts to get a place for my fingers. So why should I be involved? The Samsung Tab S3 works great with the S Pen enabled. However, the included screen protector, which is part of one of the halves, prevented the S Pen from always making good contact with the Tab S3's screen. After seeing how we bought the Tab S3 for art and animation uses, using the S Pen properly was paramount to me. The protective film prevented us from touching the screen (that is, with the S Pen). Then I broke open the case and then carefully peeled off the transparent film with a knife. It took a while, but I patiently slid the knife over and removed the film. It was held in place by some kind of glue. Eventually the foil was removed and I cleaned it before putting my S3 back in its case. Now the S Pen makes proper contact with the tablet's screen and I still get a hard plastic case to protect it. The case feels good in the hand and is heavy. We also like the kickstand on the back of the case. This is a really good case, the only thing I didn't like was the screen protector that was attached. After removing it is great.
