I'm satisfied with this device. Did a lot of research and collected helpful tips and answers below from other posts and support: 1. Keep the device unplugged for 24 hours to avoid damage after you receive the device. Stands directly in the manual and on the Box2. When using a drain hose extension, use thread tape to prevent leaks. Also, do not over-tighten the connection with tools, but rather by hand as much as possible. Some people have mentioned leaks without using thread tape, or others have said they broke the plastic threaded connection by over-tightening it with tools, which immediately broke the plastic threaded connector and completely ruined the connection. Disable always on if you don't want it to run continuously. This is on by default and some users have complained that it never turns off. That's why. The humidity setting and the "comfort" setting (read the manual for them) work as I tested and they are accurate and functional.4. If using a drain hose, make sure gravity flows down to the drain. Others said they had to tilt the unit backwards with washers or magazines on the front wheels to prevent some of the water from going into the bucket instead of all of it going into the hose.
