Review on 🍳 Lodge Silicone Skillet Trivet for Food Service Equipment & Supplies by Darius Carraway

Good grip keeps pans from slipping

This is the first type of coaster I've tried and I really like it. I used to just place hot items on a round pin, but if there is something on the bottom of the pot it can contaminate the pin. Also, if it's very hot (or too close to the stove), it can burn itself. The biggest problem with potholders is that they don't prevent slipping. This one holds the pot or pan in place, works up to a whopping 500 degrees, and actually looks pretty with its raised, nested pot pattern. So this first non-slip trivet I've tried is a great alternative to the oven mitt trivets I've used in the past.

Pros
  • Embossed pattern on pan improves grip
Cons
  • Expensive
