I bought these to compare and possibly replace another set of HOXWELL wheel chocks I bought a few months ago. The other set, as you can see in the photos, has a flat contact point with the wheel and while I haven't noticed any slippage issues, I can see where it can occur. This kit has a contoured contact patch that makes much better contact with the tire and when you manually press the wheel to see the effect the tire lifts slightly and presses the wedge against the ground as opposed to the flat type , who can slide out of the wheel. They are made in China and the rubber outgass quite a bit, even if you use them in your garage you will need to let them air out in the sun for a few days. One of the four had a small crack on the bottom that didn't affect performance. The tear was in the packaging as it was packed in a double box and the box was not damaged. I received them in 3 days. They are advertised for trailers, RVs, trucks, or ATVs and I've tried most. Works great on trailers, cars/trucks, zero turn mowers and ATVs. They were a bit small for the rear wheels of a compact utility tractor, but fit on the front wheels. In short, of the 4 types of wedges that I own, these are the best and most versatile for my use.
