We bought this product to separate different food groups without using ziplock plastic bags. We really like that there are three separate compartments in each container. I'm picky and don't like my food touching. One day it could be carrots, blueberries and cucumbers. Another day it might be almonds, apples and snacks with cheese and rice. No matter the combination, you can store them separately, and the container is sealed, so you don't have to worry about anything falling out. really nice. We've had other containers that didn't close as well as the bento, and when you opened the lunch box, liquid or crumbs spilled out of you. That's no problem with the bento container. We recommend the bento containers. Again, we love that we can use these instead of ziplock plastic bags. To top it off, they're dishwasher safe, which is always a plus. Bento containers have no downsides.
