Super Fun, Preschooler Tested, Mom Approved!

We just received it and opened this weekend. Conclusion: My preschooler loves it! For context: We are a Mandarin and Cantonese speaking family living in a predominantly English speaking environment and I am always looking for fun activities to help my children understand that Chinese can also be used for entertainment and not for entertainment. only talk to adults. My 3.5 year old loves to see the Chinese characters that he has started to learn and the English characters because he has started to learn phonetics and the English texts that he knows with the words on the page to match. He was particularly enthusiastic about the Chinese version of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". The child is just as passionate and can also handle the book. I love that we have an iPad alternative for Chinese nursery rhymes and that the batteries are regular (AAA) so I don't have to buy the special button cell batteries that are common when playing music in books. The only thing that confused me is the volume control, but I think it refers to on/off, not up/down. It's actually very easy to work with, unlike most music books. It looks like an incredible amount of work, but I hope the creator makes more Chinese songbooks so kids can see that Chinese is fun too!
