I installed this as part of installing and updating my swamp backup last summer. I wanted a system that would alert me if something was wrong in my basement. It works and it was a pleasure working with the Level Sense folks when I had questions. Unfortunately, not everything was so good. The water level feature never worked properly for me and was confusing. The water detection sensor works well. However, I had problems connecting to the WiFi. Since I'm pretty into home automation, it's not the lack of signal. I have high speed Comcast internet (this week's highest download speed 233.01 Mbps) combined with an Eero mesh router system. I even have an Eero pod that's 10ft from Level Sense in my basement and it still gets turned off frequently. There was also trouble when he stopped sending me notifications in the form of text messages. This was the main reason I spent the extra money on this option over the cheaper option. Unfortunately I don't know when I'm connected or not unless I'm close to the device. I'm sure I could clear things up with one more call to their amazing support, but I've already spent more time with this system than I'd like to.
