I ordered this as my family is huge when it comes to nerf fights indoors. Yes, we are parents who shoot the whole house with Nerf bullets that we find years later behind furniture and on very high window sills. Of course, our children also like to play and I think they prefer to shoot at us than we do at them. That's why I ordered this particular model as it's very modular and gives kids lots of options for different activities. If you add a barrel extension, it will shoot further and be more accurate. The great thing about Nerf guns is that they all use the same connectors on all of their guns. So the stock fits perfectly with our other 5 year old Nerf shotgun and vice versa. Again it's a great value, it comes with 12 rounds so it's better to buy more rounds in bulk when they're on sale as you'll lose some shooting around the house. Yes, and the shop at the bottom is compatible with all older models and vice versa. To load this particular model, pull the top back and it's spring loaded and it's not that heavy. So I would rate them as a medium pull compared to other Nerf models. My kids also love the built in little visor/eye shield. I'm glad I got it and can't wait for more nerf fights.
