I bought this product for my own use and kept it. I was actually looking for a low shelf for my office to store things under the window and this was perfect for that. I would put shoes on what it's for, but I wouldn't sit on it. These are very flimsy parts for a shelf and difficult to assemble yourself. The instructions didn't work. I loosely put all the pieces together and went back to tighten them up. The holes were poorly machined and required some force. Other than that, it looks good and is perfect for what I need, but it's not a solid or large item and nobody should sit or stand on it.
