They should definitely be used as an accent in small rooms. They are good for small Christmas trees, wreaths or small baskets that come out with extra lighting. Keep in mind that they are not intended for long-term use. Buy 20 or 40 extra batteries and be aware that changing batteries can be a little cumbersome. Ideally, they are for one-time use at a party or reception and will last for the duration of the event.
