We purchased this product in May 2019 and it is almost December now. We have outlets on our phones (this is a brand that sells the type of product you need to make this product work on your phone). We bought these for our bedroom wall for two reasons: so we have a place to hang our phones at night and so we don't lose our phone charger cords. We don't have side tables to turn our phones on at night and they work great. We have semi-textured walls (mostly smooth, but it looks like texture, maybe wallpaper, not paint). We had no problems sticking them, they didn't even show any signs of falling off the wall. So strong! And we're both grateful that we no longer have to rummage around the bed for phones or search under the bed for a phone cord that's fallen out of our line of sight. ha ha. It's pretty cool. We bought 2 sets of 2. We have one for our teenage daughter's room and we have another one that we haven't posted yet. I'm thinking of hanging it in our bathroom - it would be a great way to hang it up while you're in the shower if you want to listen to some music. Or to be able to use it as a watch while going to work/study. (We don't have a radio or clock in the bathroom.)
