We love our Clearly Pure shower head and these filters have (slightly) extended its life. If you hate bathing in bleach or are concerned about other chemicals in your water, the Clearly Pure showerhead is a good, affordable solution. Long, hot showers are the order of the day at our house. Any shower head with a filter can wear out within a few months. About five months after purchasing the Clearly Pure showerhead, we started noticing some wear and tear. Water began to flow out of the center of the shower head in an amount greater than desired. Scrolling through the settings (there are two of them) didn't help much. However, I haven't seen anything else to replace it. not for an apartment and not in the same low price range. So we tried changing the filter. The shower head wasn't "like new" but changing the filter definitely helped. For the price we made a good decision and expect it to last before we buy another shower head for at least another year. The filter package arrives quickly and is well packaged. Inside, the (two) filters are clearly marked and it is very easy to change the filter. You don't need big plumbing tools. Most people can probably change the filter without a wrench or pliers. (We have.) The jet from our shower head is still (much) stronger than when we first bought the shower head. But the filter reduced the flow enough to keep us happy. Plus, our water is odorless, free of drying chlorine or other unwanted chemicals.
