Buyer beware if your seatbacks aren't upright We had two previous versions of this seat which worked very well in the back seat of our SUVs. They had a real wood or faux wood frame as part of the frame and hung very well on the headrest, even though the backrest was reclined. After years of use for two dogs the fabric was worn down by the dogs and we tried to buy new fabric liners but they were no longer made. We then ordered one of those pet boosters that doesn't have a real wood/treated wood frame. It will not hang vertically from a headrest when the seatback is reclined. Our dog was very dissatisfied with the sloping floor. I called the manufacturer to try to fix the problem but they had no solution so I sent this item back to Revain. Buyers should be careful if their seatback is not at a 90 degree angle to the vertical. My solution was to purchase a Solvit Deluxe Pet Safety Seat that sits on the seat rather than hanging from the headrest and is held in place by the harness. It has a rake frame that is responsible for tilting the seat.
