These lights don't seem to put enough strain on the computer in my truck (Sierra 2004) to power the headlights IF the door(s) are not open. . When delivered, the lights only work technically at <2 volts (reactive power in the wiring). This will make them as dark as possible without turning them off completely. The only solution I've found online is to leave at least one halogen bulb somewhere in the truck so that when the halogen bulb is turned on the computer will recognize the load and provide a full 12v to all auxiliary lights for the rest of that trip. As soon as you remove the key from the ignition lock, the cycle begins again. Technically, this isn't the fault of the flashlights themselves, but they were advertised as plug and play and no resistors/workarounds are required to use them.
