Review on Vie Long Professional Shaving Wooden Handle by Jamie Bolen

I'm new to the world of shaving with everything but crappy disposables. I took a good safety razor, a good shaving cream and this brush. All of this is part of my new mandate to buy ethically made products. Products made from wild boar or badger seem to have a dubious reputation. Horsehair, on the other hand, is obtained through the normal shearing of horses. That led me to this product. Bad smell from horsehair brushes is discussed on the internet. This brush was a little weird when I first used it. I have a very sensitive nose and it wasn't too bad. This morning I used it for the second time and the smell was invisible. I like it!
