Review on 🚽 Toilet Flush Lever Handle - Universal Replacement for Toilet Tank - Side Mount by Jaleel Akuffo

Worked great on my toilet!

I am so glad I found this product at Revain. I have a Universal Rundle (Sears) toilet that originally came with a chrome push button flush lever. [Photo 1] From day one, this button was a nuisance (pun intended) because it always required an awkward effort to activate. Why the manufacturer opted for a button instead of the more common rotary lever knob remains a mystery. After 20 years of use, the button on the toilet broke. I easily found identical replacement buttons online, but I didn't want to go down that route again if I could. Luckily I found this lever handle at Revain. Like many other reviewers, I also had to remove the square black rubber grommet from the replacement flush arm to fit my toilet. I also had to go further. My toilet has an oval hole instead of a square hole in the side of the cistern for the flush lever. [Photo 2] The oval hole was not big enough to fit a replacement flush handle even after I removed the black rubber pad. I used a dremel rotary tool with a small diameter cylindrical whetstone and sanded a small amount of ceramic on the top and bottom edges of the toilet flush lever hole. It didn't require much sanding, it was more like polishing the edges, smoothing out their initial roughness. That was all it took and then this replacement rinse arm fits and works great! [Photos 3 & 4] The quality and finish of this OULII replacement flush handle is pretty good, especially for the price, and I would highly recommend it. The only thing is that it took some getting used to that our toilet now has a flush lever instead of a button. For about a week we tried pushing the lever on the side instead of twisting it down.
