It would have worked if the seller had sent the correct item.
I bought this remote for my 2003 Mazda 6 because two of the remotes stopped working. The remote arrived as expected in a padded envelope. I went to my car to program the remote but it didn't work. I repeated the steps in the order several times and even found the instructions online. I took a closer look and found that the remote that was sent did not match the old remote I had. The Visteon model IDs did not match, the ID on the chip in the remotes did not match. I can't say if the product worked because it wasn't compatible with my car.
