Cheap Chinese product.
I have one of them who is 30-40 years old. I recently moved and needed three more. When they arrived in a plastic bag. All the bulbs that came with it were broken and one didn't work at all so I had to order another one. They are of the cheapest quality, but after all, everything is made in China. In the end they all worked. Luckily, all they have to do is sit on the windowsill.
