Yedi vs. Instant Pot Price

Instant Pot and Yedi are made by the same manufacturer and share some common components. The main difference between the two is that the Instant Pot lid doesn't need to be placed on the counter when open, and it comes with a cookbook. They both work very well. With a volume of 6 liters, you can quickly and easily prepare meals for 8 people. Our son and daughter-in-law have an Instant Pot 6 liters and we have a Yedi 6 liters. We also have an 8 liter instant pot. At the time of our pre-Christmas Yedi purchase, it was $15 less than the Instant Pot and we didn't need a cookbook. The current prices of each of them are now inverted. Both are excellent stoves so I would choose the best value for money. Please note that we have found that an 8 liter pressure cooker does not cook as well as a 6 liter pressure cooker. The difference was the amount of water needed to increase the pressure. Don't ask me why, but it was what we read and also experienced. Unless cooking for a crowd, 6 liters will do.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Requires outlet
